This customer claims it work on Windows XP with Windows Media Player 11. The problem is that I have a customer that cannot use anything else then Windows Media Player. Whether you choose a smartphone or an external device for the file source, you won’t experience any issues with compatibility and playback. But directly from http does not seem to work (WMP shows 'There was an error trying to open the file' or something similar). If you can use WMP 11 on Windows 7, I need to know where I can get the last version created for Windows Vista. It was also easyer to manage the library. However, it is not possible to play the file with Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7. WMP 11 had this cool skin feture where I could put a small skin version of the player on my taskbar so I could still control the media I was playing without having to change windows. I can point to them from VLC (via Open Network.) and the file is showing.
